Groban's Christmas Album Shatters Records

Josh Groban's holiday album, Noel, has become the hottest CD of the year. Here are some of the heights it has hit:

* Noel will be the biggest-selling album of the year, snagging the top spot from the High School Musical 2 soundtrack.

* Noel is the first Christmas album to spend four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart.

* Noel is the first Christmas album to spend four weeks at No. 1 since Elvis Presley's 1957 holiday album. (The King's four weeks at No. 1 were not consecutive.)

* Noel sold 669,000 copies in one recent week, the biggest single-week tally for a Christmas album since Kenny G's Miracles: The Holiday Album sold 819,000 copies back in 1994.

* Noel is expected to sell more than 3 million copies this year -- the only CD to do so.
