Josh Groban may look like your average guitar-toting college student, but don't be fooled. The 26-year-old baritone won't be playing at your local cafe anytime soon. Groban is one of America's hottest pop artists and has sold more than 14 million records since the release of his eponymous double-platinum debut album. His most recent release, Awake, includes ballads sung in French and Italian, as well as collaborations with rocker Dave Matthews, jazz legend Herbie Hancock, and South Africa's Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Now touring, the musician is rarely seen without his iPod when he's on the road. During a brief tour stop, Groban shared a few of his most essential music player accessories.

Griffin Tunebuds Earphones ($30)
I just bought this great pair of in-ear earphones. It's surprising, but when I work out in the gym with my iPod and TuneBuds, the only way I can finish a workout is to blast Tool, Disturbed, or Björk.

Bose Quietcomfort 3 Acoustic Noise-Cancelling Headphones ($349)
They're a bit of a splurge, but worth it on an airplane and the best way to get an accurate sound. That's important, because I use my iPod to check the musical components of my albums and to figure out the order of the songs.

Bose SoundDock Digital Music System ($300)
Sometimes you want to unplug the earphones and fill the room with music. A docking station like this one can do that. It weighs less than five pounds but has a big speaker. I'll have it FedExed to our first hotel, then I'll put it in my suitcase for the next stop.
