The Academy Awards aren't until this Sunday (February 27), but Josh Groban is already getting excited. Groban will join Beyonce on the telecast to perform "Believe," the Best Original Song nominee he recorded for the soundtrack to the Polar Express. Groban said he can't wait.
"I look forward to the Oscars,” Groban said. “That'll be a lot of fun to perform on the Oscars. It's been a dream of mine ever since I rehearsed on the Oscar stage when I was 17, without a record deal. To go back and do it as a professional, I just can't wait. It'll be a lot of fun."
Groban stood in for Andrea Bocelli at rehearsals for the 1999 Academy Awards show, after filling in for Bocelli and Celine Dion at an earlier Grammy Awards rehearsal. Groban performs Tuesday (February 22) at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
